Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located?

Bloom Wellness is located inside Nature’s Country Cupboard in downtown South Haven.
We’re in the back of the store, in a quiet private treatment space.

When you enter the shop, simply walk straight toward the back and you’ll see our door. If you’re unsure, just let a staff member know you’re here for Bloom Wellness — they’ll happily show you where to go.

Parking is available along the street and nearby public lots. Please arrive a few minutes early so you can find us without rushing.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Your first visit will focus entirely on you — your needs, your goals, and your healing journey. Whether you book a massage session or begin with an Initial Wellness Consultation, you'll have time to discuss any concerns, ask questions, and settle into a safe, no-judgment environment. Every session is personalized to your body's needs on that day.

Will I need to complete any paperwork before my session?

Yes. When booking your appointment online, you’ll be asked to complete a brief health intake form. This helps us understand your health history, wellness goals, and any important considerations for your care. If you're booking an advanced therapeutic session, a more detailed intake will be completed during your initial appointment.

What is your cancellation policy?

Because your appointment time is reserved specifically for you, we ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Cancellations made under 24 hours will be charged 50% of the scheduled service fee.

  • No-shows may be charged the full session price.

Thank you for respecting our time and allowing us to serve all clients efficiently.

What if I'm running late for my appointment?

If you arrive late, your session may need to be shortened to accommodate other clients scheduled after you. While we will do our best to provide the best experience possible within your remaining time, the full service fee will still apply for the original time booked. We encourage you to arrive 5–10 minutes early to ensure a relaxed, full experience.

Why don't we offer deep tissue massage?

At Bloom Wellness, we focus on therapeutic techniques that respect the body's natural healing processes without overwhelming the nervous system. Research increasingly shows that lighter, strategic pressure can be more effective at improving circulation, reducing inflammation, calming the vagus nerve, and supporting long-term resilience compared to overly aggressive deep tissue work. Rather than forcing the muscles into submission, we work with the body's innate intelligence — encouraging natural relaxation, nervous system reset, and sustainable healing.

How should I prepare for my session?

  • Please arrive 5–10 minutes early if it's your first visit.

  • Wear comfortable clothing.

  • Hydration before and after your session is encouraged to support circulation and recovery.

  • If you have any recent injuries, illnesses, or changes in health status, please inform us before your session.
